I just learned I'm a specialized generalist. That explains why when asked to fill in what industry I work in or what my occupation is I look in vain for the ability to make multiple selections. When someone asks me to give my background and experience, they come away skeptical that we're talking about one person.
I like to learn new things, and if I'm going to do something I want to do it well, and know what I'm doing.
